LIFE Ionizer™ 3000 is a reservoir water ionizer which means that it is primarily a ionizer, rather than a purifier. It comes with a filtration attachment for your faucet to divert filtered tap water into your system. We found that the advantage of using a reservoir ionizer over a flow-through machine is that instead of the water flowing over the water for 4-6 seconds, the water is sitting on the plates for 15-30 minutes, which provides very high and very low pH. The only drawbakc that we found is that it does take 20 minutes to take approx. 3/4 gallons of alkaline mineral water.
