The LIFE Ionizer™ 4000 contains the standard 5 platinum-coated titanium plates for efficiency and power. When these plates charge the water, they produce powerful antioxidants and minerals. There are other machines out there with more plates, but you also pay more for those plates. It's a matter of striking a balance between cost and power. Ultimately, more power means a higher ORP—thus, better hydration, more antioxidants, and more age-fighting power.

The LIFE Ionizer™ 4000 offers 20 pH levels: 4 levels of alkaline, 3 acidic, and 1 pure water mode. It can reach a pH of up to 10.8. Recommended alkaline drinking water is no greater than 9.5.

The LIFE Ionizer is also powered by a next-generation SMPS power supply, which increases unit efficiency. The alternative is a transformer, which delivers inconsistent power to the unit, and can also cause units to overheat. Ask me if your unit has a transformer or an SMPS and I'll tell you!
